Join Cub Scouts during School Night for Scouting

Cub Scout Mascots

The Scouting season resembles most school calendars in that each season runs from September through May, but also includes a few Pack activities throughout the summer. However, new Scouts and Leaders are welcome any time of the year.

All new Cub Scouts and Adult Volunteers are required to complete an application. The forms can be obtained from any Den Leader, in the Download Forms section on the left column of this page or by contacting the Cubmaster.

Annual Pack dues are $125.00 and include:

  • B.S.A. registration and insurance
  • Boy's Life Magazine
  • Pack dues (Pinewood Derby kits, all awards for the year, and more)
  • One Pack T-shirt 

Dues for New Scouts
Pack 298's charter runs from Sept through August and cost $125.  

Extra Pack T-shirts are available for Scouts and adults for $15.00.

Forms and Documents
To join Cub Scout Pack 298, download and complete the appropriate application. Although the printed form is multi-part, you need only to complete one copy. We'll make photocopies of the form. For Adults, please note the disclosure/authorization form on page 4. Adults must complete and sign that form as well as one copy of the application.

Bring the completed form(s) with you to a Den or Pack meeting. We'll collect prorated Pack Dues (which include BSA Registration) at that time. Click on 'Contact Cubmaster' to express your interest and inquire about the next scheduled meeting.
